These are paintings of my beloved city of Glasgow.
Being in Spain or anywhere outside your home, really calls you back.
If yae ken, yae ken.
A painting that always make me think of Glasgow streets.
Out shopping on a Saturday in the City Centre , a wee drink in the pub (if you can find a space) before home.
Loved this time with Princes Square and all the lights around it. quite spectacular.

The Galleries
A real memory for me. A photograph was taken a few Christmases ago by my grand daughter on Kelvingrove Street when Glasgow Art Gallery was lit up for Christmas. I absolutely love going to the Art gallery and Kelvingrove Park around where I lived for quite some time.
One of the first paintings that I every did in Spain , just to remind me of happy memories.

Across the watter
The River Clyde ... such a wonderful flowing busy river which divides this fabulous city in two.
I spent many years living on the Clyde watching the small boats and the buses crossing the bridges into Glasgow.
Acrylic and acrylic moulding paste was used in this early painting.
The Killie View
There is so much greenery in GLASGOW , its breathtaking.
I decided to paint this picture in the style of the Impressionist painters.
When talking to my granddaughter on the phone on her way home from school I asked her to take a fotae of wherever she was at that time and sent it to me.
This is the result.
